Our Board of Directors

Read about our Board of Directors

Did you know that INSPIRE has a 4-women strong Board of Directors!

Please join us in welcoming Letsiwe Thulisile Dlamini as an additional non-executive Director on the INSPIRE board. Her expertise and insights will undoubtedly contribute to our mission of advancing social performance in South Africa’s renewable energy sector.

Last week, we celebrated her arrival with a strategy session held in-person. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how far INSPIRE has come in the past 18 months since its registration as a non-profit company (NPC). We have also attained NPO and PBO status during this time.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Yumnaa Firfirey for joining us on this insightful day. And a special thanks to Nomfundo Mogapi for facilitating the discussion. With her vast experience in the NGO sector, she guided us skilfully through the many practical and strategic questions we need to address as we continue to mature as an organisation.

Letsiwe Thuli Dlamini brings her expertise as the SED Principal at Project GAIA, Anglo-American. With a focus on developing the SED Plan, Letsiwe is dedicated to driving positive social and economic impact in the renewable energy sector.

With eight years of experience as the SED Manager at the IPP Office, Letsiwe has played a crucial role in monitoring and ensuring the implementation of Socio-Economic Development and Enterprise Development obligations within the REIPPP Programme. Her expertise is invaluable to our mission.

We are excited to have Letsiwe Thuli Dlamini join our board, bringing her extensive experience, qualifications, and passion for social and environmental impact.
