Meet the Authors
RE-WIRING SOCIAL PERFORMANCE brings together the voices and experiences of practitioners, advisors, developers, community representatives, researchers and social performance professionals who have worked at the intersection of renewable energy, community development, transformation and social impact.
The book is a collective act of learning, drawing on fifteen years of lived experience of South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP). Each contributor brings a different perspective, area of expertise and chapter to the conversation—reflecting on what has worked, what has not, and what we can learn as the energy transition continues to evolve.
The authors are listed below by the chapters they contributed to, highlighting the breadth of experience and perspectives that shape this collective record of policy and practice.
Together, their contributions offer practical lessons and reflections for policymakers, developers and investors, community trusts, social performance practitioners, researchers and others working towards a more just, equitable and inclusive energy future.
