Welcome Peliswa to the INSPIRE team!

We are happy to share the news that the position for Governance and Operations Officer has been filled!

Peliswa Tengwa joins the INSPIRE team at an important stage of organisational growth, where strong governance systems and efficient operations are essential to sustaining impact. In her role, she will support board processes, coordinate meetings and documentation, and contribute to the effective day-to-day running of the organisation. Known for her structured approach, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities, Peliswa brings a steady and reliable presence to a fast-paced environment.

With over a decade of experience across nonprofit and corporate sectors, Peliswa has worked with international organisations and globally distributed teams, building a strong foundation in governance coordination and operational support. Prior to joining INSPIRE, she worked with Habitat International Coalition, where she supported governance structures, financial processes and internal systems across an international network. Her experience also includes project coordination and operational roles within global service delivery environments, giving her a well-rounded perspective on organisational effectiveness.

Peliswa holds a Certificate in Project Management and a Certificate in Office Administration, which complement her hands-on experience and practical approach to governance and operations. She is passionate about contributing to mission-driven organisations and supporting transparent, well-functioning systems that enable teams to do their best work.

As INSPIRE continues to grow, Peliswa’s role will be central to strengthening our governance practices, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting executive functions. Her contribution will help ensure that our internal systems remain aligned with the scale and ambition of our work.
