This event will bring together senior managers, executives and heads of departments from the renewable energy and mining sectors to exchange ideas around maturing Social Performance as a discipline and function to increase the potential to deliver meaningful change within business, host communities, and beyond.
Objectives
- To expand and locate Social Performance within international definitions and frameworks, including ESG, thus taking it beyond a narrow Socio-Economic Development (SED) focus
- To explore ideas around how one leads for impact, including the skills and capabilities needed in teams to deliver on the full potential of Social Performance
- To inquire into the impact that Social Performance can have within organisations and host communities, including helping to facilitate a Just Energy Transition
- To identify capacity building needs in the renewable energy Social Performance space, and how collectively we might deliver on these
